The New Democratic Party of Newfoundland and Labrador announces the call for candidate nominations in the district of Windsor Lake.
Any member of the NL NDP who is a resident of the district of Windsor Lake can nominate a prospective candidate. Prospective candidates must be current Party members.
The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018. The nomination meeting will be held 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Comfort Inn, 106 Airport Road, St. John's.
Members interested in nominating a prospective candidate should send the name of the nominee, together with the written consent of the nominee, to provincial Party President Lynn Moore via info@nl.ndp.ca. To submit a nomination, as well as obtain a copy of the NL NDP Constitution, email info@nl.ndp.ca.
The district of Windsor Lake is now vacant as a result of the resignation of MHA Cathy Bennett. The byelection date is set for September 20, 2018.
