The Leadership Candidate Debate will take place Sunday, March 25, 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the main lecture theatre of the Bruneau Centre, Memorial University St. John’s campus. The debate is hosted by the NL NDP and NDP MUN. Former Radio Canada/CBC Reporter, Françoise Enguehard will moderate the debate. The debate will be open to the public to attend and free of charge.
Submit a Topic or Question
The Party is inviting members to submit topics or questions they would like to see the moderator ask. Visit nlndpconvention.ca/debate to submit your input by midnight on Wednesday March 20. The Party and the debate moderator will review suggestions as they select and develop the final questions. Alison Coffin and Gerry Rogers are seeking the leadership of the Party. Alison Coffin is an economist dedicated to advancing responsible public policy and excellence in governance. Gerry Rogers was first elected in 2011 and again in 2015 and has served over six years as NDP MHA for St. John’s Centre.
