Graham Downey-Sutton was born and raised in Corner Brook and has family roots in Humber-Gros Morne.
Graham has firsthand knowledge of the healthcare system from his education and work experience. He graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from Western Regional School of Nursing, Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2015. He has experience in numerous healthcare settings including acute care, long-term care, personal care homes, and adult residential community home support/assistive living settings.
A proud NAPE member, Graham is currently employed as a Developmental Support Worker with Momentum Developmental Support in Corner Brook. He is also studying for a Bachelor of Social Work through the University of Victoria’s distance education program.
Graham is a highly motivated and outspoken social and environmental justice activist who strives to build a fairer, greener, and more equitable Newfoundland and Labrador where all citizens can have the opportunity to achieve their fullest potentials in life.
He lives in Corner Brook with his partner April Legge.
