Amy Norman

Lake Melville

Amy Norman is a proud Inuk woman born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. Her family is from North West River and Nain, Nunatsiavut, as well as Catalina, Newfoundland. 


Amy has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, working more than ten years in community pharmacies as a pharmacy assistant, and in medical centres as a medical assistant and clinic manager. 


Amy is also a passionate advocate for Indigenous Rights and for the Environment. She is an active member of the Labrador Land Protectors, and has brought their message of protecting The Big Land to panels and events all across North America.


Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Minor in Mathematics from Bishop’s University. She currently works at Warr’s Pharmacy, and volunteers as a Girl Guide leader in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
