Time off to Vote
All employees qualified to vote are entitled to have 4 consecutive hours to vote on Election Day. For example, if you normally work 9 - 5:00 p.m., your employer is required to let you leave work 1 hour earlier in order to have 4 consecutive hours to get to the polls.

What You Need to Vote
In order to be eligible to vote in Mount Pearl North you will need to be

a Canadian Citizen
-
at least 18 years of age
-
a resident of the Newfoundland & Labrador
-
a resident of the district
An eligible voter may cast a ballot even if they are not yet on the voters list. They will need to swear an oath and produce necessary identification at the polling station, e.g. a drivers licence.
