NL New Democrats open nominations for provincial election in all 40 districts
The Newfoundland and Labrador New Democratic Party announced today that nominations are open for the 2019 provincial election.
“I'm happy that the NL NDP is able to open nominations for all 40 districts today. We have prospective candidates eager to file their paperwork and many more members who want to volunteer. We're going to have 40 progressive candidates who will all be looking to make things better for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians," said Lynn Moore, NL NDP President.
Individuals seeking to become candidates for the New Democratic Party of Newfoundland and Labrador must be members of the Party in good standing. Prospective candidates must submit an application to seek nomination in a provincial district.
Prospective candidates must write to the NL NDP President, Lynn Moore, at president@nl.ndp.ca to request the 2019 Provincial Election Candidate Nomination Package.
All details about the candidate nomination process are available at www.nl.ndp.ca/nominations.
Closing dates for each district will be announced on a rolling basis and will be announced via news release, social media, and all updates will be posted to www.nl.ndp.ca/nominations.
